5/5

Fighting the Good Fight, the concluding book in Loredo’s allegorical trilogy, is an end times YA novel. Packed with enough struggles and suffering to daunt all but true believers, Christian Strider and a close-knit band of allies navigate a world that is degenerating into a violent, every-man-for-himself dystopia. But despite the turmoil, Chris remains faithful to his calling and experiences victories and great joy amidst his sorrows.
FTGF is a compelling, fast paced read, filled with strong characters. My favorite, Sheridan—son of arch-villain mogul Stan Moden—begins his journey as a despicable, murderous, wisecracking reprobate. Can this wretch possibly be saved? Or has he wandered too far from grace?
Although FTGF can be enjoyed as a stand-alone novel, I highly recommend getting to know the lead characters—both heroes and villains—from the initial offerings, The Race & Keeping the Faith: Still Running.

This is a very dynamic story of what can be expected just before end time events. Very highly recommended!

Unfortunately, since I don’t have readily available access to internet where I live in Papua New Guinea, I read this book of a series of three, second rather than last. it was several months after reading the first one in the series, The Race. It took me about a third of the way into the book to remember characters and make sense of it again. i did enjoy it very much and have recommended the series of books to a friend who loved them, too. i plan to re-read the whole series again in the right order and I know I will enjoy it even more! It is a “Star Trek” approach to the end of time.

God looks so good in this book, as He is the personification of goodness.
