Description
When her perfect life shatters, her only hope is to surrender…
Thanks to her sponsor, Doug Damour, Susana Strider is living her dream life. The painful scars that had plagued her since childhood had robbed her of any hope of “normal” things like a husband and kids. But now she’s married to a great guy, enrolled in grad school, and expects to start a family soon. He even healed those nasty scars.
But then a chance encounter puts her husband, Chris, on their enemy’s hit list. Doug assures her that he’ll take care of everything. She merely has to trust him. But trust was a whole lot easier when the stakes were smaller. Can she really entrust Doug with her most precious gifts, or will they all become victims of their relentless attacker?

I am sure that the masterful and addicting telling of the parable, “The Race”, by Della Loredo, captivated all of you that read it. The sequel is no less addicting. Della has done a fantastic job not just telling the story, but also presenting theological concepts in an understandable way. May the Holy Spirit impress your mind and bless you, as He did with me, with the truths here presented. Thank you Della!

The sequel to The Race was just as good, if not better, than the first book. Della does an amazing job of portraying the great controversy between good and evil in vivid language through this allegory. There is so much I could say about this series, but suffice it to say that it is a powerful story that will get you thinking and will drive home spiritual truths that will deepen your relationship with God.

This was my favorite book of the series of three! I loved it! It is an allegory of the struggles christians go thru in life–a modern Pligrim’s Progress. Read the whole series of three books–you won’t be sorry!

Wow.This is an amazing allegory. While I was reading this book, my wife asked me are you in a good spot, I said they are all good, so yes.
It really makes you think about how long the evil angels have had to perfect their craft.
It helps you understand the power of God, absolutely awe inspiring. This book will encourage your faith.
I appreciate the attention to detail.

I’m still running, this book will encourage you to keep the faith. I read The Race and it was engaging, but this one wouldn’t let me put it down. I actually discovered the second book by sharing the first book with my sister. I’m so glad I was sharing, I may not have known that this was available and I can’t wait until the 3rd book comes out. Thank you again for letting God use the gift of writing to remind us that the race will bring all kinds of obstacles, but God is still faithful and we can trust Him know matter the circumstances. My fellow readers, keep the faith, keep running, for the race is almost over. Hallelujah!
